File Specs

File Specifications for optimum print quality.

Files must be uploaded as a PDF. When exporting your file as a PDF, please export it with a minimum 300dpi and in CMYK colour.

Bleeds must extend past the cut-line and will be trimmed from the product during the final cutting phase. When the image is required to extend all the way to the edge, bleed is needed to preserve the finished look and the quality of the final product.

Please keep all text at least 0.125" inside the cut-line.

- The bleed for Standard Products is 0.125".
- The bleed for Booklets and Presentation Folders is 0.25".
- The bleed for bumper stickers is 0.50”

We recommend using our templates at all times.

To design your print materials, you can either use our online design tool available with each product or you can use an offline designer such as Photoshop, Gimp, Illustrator or Scribus and upload your file.

** When using our online designer, once you have finsihed your design, you will need to download it (save to your computer) before uploading to our server. **

The primary colours used in 4-colour printing. CMYK are used to reproduce full colour on the printed sheet. CMYK also called PROCESS COLOUR

C: Cyan (Blue)
M: Magenta (Red)
Y: Yellow
K: Key (Black)

The additive primary colours, red, green and blue, (RGB) are used to display colour in video monitors and is not suitable for printing. Printing with a file in RGB colour mode will produce a washed out appearance. We do not check files for RGB. That responsibility falls to the customer before submission of the files.
